Rishop or Rishyap is a small village situated at about 8500 ft or 2951 meters above sea level, and is located about 28 kms from the Kalimpong district. Adventure enthusiasts mostly favor Rishop because of its undulating plains and the breathtaking views of the Kanchenjunga Mountains. Rishop is on the way to Lava-Lolegaon, which are 9 kms and 35 kms from this place respectively.
