Homestay - Jaldhaka - MPH16
Jaldhaka is a river that originates at East Sikkim and passes through Bhutan while crossing partially through the Bhutan-Bengal border. While passing through this route, the Jaldhaka River
has created a valley located about 1500 ft above sea level that has helped in the development of a tourist destination in the Dooars region. The Jaldhaka valley is a congregation of several small villages, which lie, in this beautiful and natural landscape. Cardamom plantations and several varieties of mountainous birds are the speciality of this peaceful valley, which is still untouched by the humdrum of city life.
About the Homestay : The homestay is located in the heart of Jaldhaka in a place called Upper
Paren. The sound of the River, the beautiful view of the hills and the rhythm of birds chirping around makes this place ‘a home away from home’. One can view the majestic Himalayan foothills from the balcony of the homestay, and the forests nearby where one can go for leisure
walk.
