Village Tourism Medinipur - MON11

Purba Medinipur is one of the districts under Medinipur administrative division whose headquarters are located in Tamluk. Under this rural district, lies Pausi village where an ecotourism initiative has been undertaken. Pausi village is like any other rural village of West Bengal that resides by the side of a dying river, with paddy fields and coconut trees accompanying the sides of the village paths.
About the Hotel/Resort : The resort is based upon the responsible ecotourism concept, which involves less wastage of resources while being responsible towards the surrounding environment and creating a sustainable future for tourism. The ecotourism resort aims to promote tourism in an offbeat area, which is not near to any popular destination. The objective is to enhance local employment while also keeping the tourism to a permissible limit.

    Places to see :
As it is an ecotourism initiative, people come here to spend a day or two in the lap of nature leaving the chaos of busy city life behind. The Bagda river and the nearby village of Pausi are two of the interesting places where tourists can spend their day or evening while exploring the rural life in its reality.
