About the Homestay : French in its architecture, and built in the late 18th century as a Neel Kothi or ‘Indigo House’, our resort is a heritage house at Nabadwip in Nadia district,which earlier was the residency of an indigo planter built in 19 century. This Home Stay is spread over an area of 17 acres and the Nil Kuthi (Indigo Planters Bungalow) covers 12,000 sq, ft. of livinig space. It has a total of 5 guest rooms 3 of which have AC, but the high ceiling and thick walls provides a natural cooling mechanism. The furniture are so antique to give you you a royal feel.

  - Pick-up and Drop Facility- The Estate provide it's own pick-up and drop facility from Krishnanagar. you can simply call us and ask for the cab to pick you up from the station.
  - In-house Dining- The dining room has a large mahogany table with beautiful chairs where breakfast, lunch and dinner is served. we have our own menu from an English breakfast, Bengali lunch, Continental and Indian at dinner; sweets, savouries, cakes and puddings. The meals are healthy, ample and delicious. The fruits, vegetables and milk are the produce of the estate.
  - Indoor games- We have different indoor games for our guests to enjoy and spend some leisure time with themselves.
  - Activities : Nature lovers can enjoy the natural beauty. It is what we are renowned for. The garden is adorned with colourful flowers making you feel really beautiful. Visiting the estate during spring will help you listen to the beautiful songs of the birds in the morning. There are trees producing vegetables and a number of mango trees. The long verandah is not only light and airy but spacious. It is lined with chairs, easy chairs and marble topped tables. Where one can spend long hours either by reading books and magazines or simply watching nature and enjoying the natural beauty and listen to the chirping of the birds. If you prefer to unwind in the house, play snooker or billiards on the vintage Lazarus table, throw some darts, play a few rounds of ping pong or carom, or a few hands of cards, we have it all here. We also have a number of spectacular places located nearby – Ballal Diphi; Mayapur and Ghurni in Krishnanagar, famous for clay idols; Krishnanagar Rajbari, Bhallal Dipi and Jalangi River.
  How to Reach : Maheshganj a 130 km/3.5 hr drive from Kolkata. There are regular trains between Sealdah and the city of Krishnagar; from where one can take vehicular transport to the destination. It can be approached by road via the Durgapur Expressway.
