From this beautiful viewpoint, one can have glimpses of Mount Kanchenjunga and its ranges, hills of Nepal, plains of Siliguri and the rivers and tea gardens in the plains below.
    Salamander Lake - This beautiful natural water-body is located about 14 kms from the town of Kurseong, and harbours the rarest and endangered species of Salamander, an aquatic reptile that adds to the greenish tinge of the lake.
    Giddapahar Durga Mata Temple - This temple is popularly known as Sri Sati Devi Mandir, and is believed to be about more than hundred years old. The temple is located about two kilometers from the Kurseong market on the Hill Cart Road towards Siliguri.
    Dowhill Area - This area comprises of a deer park, forest museum, and an ecopark. The dowhill area can be reached from Kurseong by taking a route through the Pankhabari road by walking about 5.2 km.
    Makaibari Tea Estate - One of the renowned tea estates in and around Darjeeling, which is known for its sustainable and eco-friendly tea plantations. This tea garden exports to other states as well as abroad. Tea tourism is also a great option for tourists visiting here.
